Day of Prayer for Myanmar (Burma)

The Global Day of Prayer for Burma is held annually in March.

Organised by Christians Concerned for Burma and Free Burma Rangers, people around the world join together in praying for peace and human rights in Burma.

In previous years Karen people in Bendigo and Melbourne, Australia, have organised interfaith prayer services where Christians and Buddhists, Australians, Karen, Karenni, Chin and Burmese have come and prayed together.

We believe that people of different religions and ethnic groups praying together is one small step towards peace in Burma.

We would encourage your church or community group to become involved in the day of prayer for Burma.
